waking up at noon on saturday and realizing you have the whole weekend ahead of
you to do what ever you want
being surrounded by my cats on the couch, all of them purring
people coming up to me after a poetry reading and telling me how much they like my work
spending half an hour primping in front of a mirror and finally realizing that i look good
getting the first kiss on the cheek from someone i've secretly liked for months
finishing a painting
seeing a kid make a crayon drawing and then having them give it to me
spending 100 (!) dollars in the salvation army on clothes
having all the local stores trust me so much they let me buy stuff on credit
reading a new student's poetry for the first time and finding it good
