scratching fluffy puppy
        ears
a quiet corner, hot
        coffee, and harry potter
a lap that you fit
        perfectly into
the barest amount of
        cold that allows you to
        pull on well-worn
        long-sleeve t-shirts
mountain air blowing
        through a rolled down
        window and
        concentration on tight
        curves
dipping your fingers in
        water and you move
        through it
inside jokes between
        you and your bestfriends
boys that smell like
        detergent, clean and
        fresh
someone telling you how
        strong you are in your
        worst moments of doubt
slushies from the gas
